Doswell Law is committed to providing a high standard of client care, which exceeds client expectations. Your employment matter will typically follow a 4-step process:
Step 1: You Contact Us
You call us to provide an overview of your employment issues. During this call, you will normally be given some guidance on whether it is worthwhile attending our offices to obtain legal advice. There is no charge for this initial discussion and no obligation on you to instruct us. Alternatively, you can email us and we will call you back, usually on the same day.
Step 2: Initial Advice Meeting
You attend our offices or one of our meeting rooms in Canterbury or Maidstone to obtain specific legal advice and for us to review any relevant documents. You will be given client care information including a copy of our standard terms of business to sign. This information will set out how we can help you. It will also provide you with our estimated charges. You will need to provide us with ID documents (ideally, a passport or driving licence and a recent utility bill or bank statement).
Step 3: Follow-up
We will follow-up any advice given to you in writing. We will also provide you with any further advice and support you need including representing you in any employment tribunal proceedings. We will continuously update you on our charges so that you are always aware of our fees.
Step 4: Resolution
We will work with you to achieve a successful resolution to your matter, always keeping you aware of any changes in our advice. Once matters are concluded we will send you a client feedback questionnaire to complete and return. Any final charges will be invoiced and with your agreement your matter will be closed.
